Mindfulness Practices & Meditation | Reducing Stress | Easing Big Life Transitions

Moving forward is always a challenge – because the ego never likes change. I know because I once made a decision that changed my life forever. One that transformed me into what people often call a “hip, cool, and forward-thinking yoga-monk.”

But please, let me explain.

I grew up as a child actor in Hollywood and was influenced by three mentors – Ronald Reagan, Shirley Temple, and Donna Reed. But after I graduated from USC Film School, I made an unexpected, life-changing decision. I became a yoga monk with the Self-Realization Fellowship and lived in a monastery for 35 years.

There, I became immersed in a world of meditation, study, and service, soon becoming a swami. I traveled the world as a speaker and teacher, mentoring well-known people like Steve Jobs, George Harrison, and fashion icon Fred Segal.  I have written books on the subject, even forming Mindful “U,” an online destination for teaching mindfulness to organizations and individuals worldwide.

My goal is to help people get greater clarity on their goals and their strengths, so they can confidently take exciting steps forward in their personal and professional lives.

In today’s complex world, most people are in some kind of transition. We all want to be more mindful, reduce stress, practice emotional intelligence and be better communicators in daily life. The big question is, where do you see yourself a year from now?

Wherever you see yourself, you can get there. Are you ready to get started?

Have you completed The Balance Baseline and identified the areas of your life that need a bit of work?
If not, you can start your complimentary Balance Baseline Self-Assessment here. You can read 1000 self-help books, attend workshops, and lean on your circle of friends and family for advice — but there is nothing that compares to hiring a life coach to really encourage your progress.
